Summary
W2, Hybrid Position - Baltimore, Maryland. Candidates must eligible for Contract to hire job opportunities. Sponsorship is not available. Prefer candidates that live within a commutable distance to Baltimore, MD.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in infrastructure monitoring and a solid understanding of application performance monitoring concepts, without requiring deep code-level development expertise.
- Required Qualifications:
- Must have experience utilizing Dynatrace to monitor application performance and transaction flows.
- MUST HAVE Support synthetic monitoring and real user monitoring.
- Must have experience collaborating with application teams to ensure proper monitoring coverage.
- Assist in troubleshooting performance issues at the application and system level.
- 5+ years of experience in Dynatrace, synthetic URL monitoring, installing agents, forwarders, APIs, performance monitoring tool alerts, dashboards and data trend analysis
- 3+ years experience leveraging Dynatrace SaaS, DQL, and Logs on Grail
Experienced at developing Dynatrace dashboards for business processes, preferably leveraging Dynatrace Business Events - Experienced in migrating from Dynatrace Managed to SaaS
Experience with recommending baseline monitoring thresholds, recommending performance monitoring KPIs and SLAs - Experience with gathering and organizing large amounts of data to use for instrumentation into an Enterprise monitoring solution
- Deep knowledge of relevant enterprise log analysis framework
- Experience with cloud monitoring in AWS or Azure
- Familiar with Jira, ServiceNow, or similar tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree - Education - Bachelor of Science or Engineering (or equivalent work experience) and 8 years proven success overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems and applications.
