We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to support cloud architecture, engineering, and deployment initiatives across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with cloud architects and technical teams to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions while contributing to automation, infrastructure modernization, and operational efficiency.
This role is ideal for candidates with foundational cloud experience who are looking to expand their expertise in cloud engineering, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud solutions in AWS and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Support multi-cloud, hybrid cloud, and on-premises integration initiatives.
- Build, configure, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure components.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.
- Support infrastructure provisioning and configuration through automation tools.
- Participate in DevOps initiatives to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
- Document cloud architectures, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
- Assist with cloud security implementation and compliance requirements.
- Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and workload migration activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver cloud-based solutions.
- Participate in technology evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and architecture reviews.
- Monitor and optimize cloud workloads for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing activities.
Required Qualifications
- 1 3 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Support, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Administration, or DevOps.
- Experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and deployment concepts.
- Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with web services and APIs.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with Linux environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to VMware, Cisco, Nutanix, or enterprise infrastructure platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or PCI.
- Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
