Job Title: Database Analyst ONLINE

Job Description:

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs database setup in production environments for new and existing clients to achieve timely and accurate migrations.
• Performs production database activities to ensure error free maintenance.
• Participates in resolution of database problems within appropriate timeframes.
• Ensures database procedures are up-to-date and accurate.
• Effectively performs database analysis and setup in quality assurance and production environments for new products and product enhancements.
• Assists in the development, migrations, and implementation process for estimating work efforts, establishing target dates and communicating work status for migration projects.
• Assists in the development, migration and implementation process for updating input mechanisms to support new products and enhancements.
• Develops, tracks and communicates statistical reporting for department.
• Provides status reports to manager in a timely manner.
• Participates in special projects as assigned.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.

JOB LEVEL DESCRIPTION

Experienced support role requiring moderate skills with a high level of proficiency. Works independently with the ability to make thorough accurate independent judgment. Demonstrated critical thinking skills to overcome obstacles and recognize early when issues should be escalated or a senior peer needs to be consulted. Consults senior peers on projects with the goal of continually building knowledge/experience while minimizing any risk to projects. Provides communication on issues or complex information to a wider audience after consultation with management or senior peers. Contributes to the development, documentation and migration standards or guidelines. Typically requires a minimum of three years database experience with previous Tandem and electronic funds transfer experience.
