Pay Range: $40 - $45/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • LOCATION: Flexible. California, Texas, & Louisiana are the main regions.
  • Hours: M-F 5/8s during planning phase, 7/12s during TA execution (30 - 45 days)
  • TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Travel required up to 25-35% of the year depending on TAR occurrences and assignments.
  • Ability to take trips during the Planning Phase to gather information necessary to properly plan work scope defined.
  • Required to be on-site for the duration of the Outage Execution timeframe to coordinate contractors executing planned work scopes, and to ensure Safe Work Practices and QAQC processes are being followed.
  • Timeframes vary but an average outage duration is 30-45 days.
  • WORKING HOURS:
  • All hours outside of the Outage Execution time frame will be worked on a Monday Friday 5-8 s schedule.
  • Special occasions 4-10 s may be worked to align with on-site Contractor Coordination efforts but will need prior approval.
  • During the Outage Execution time frame, you will work a Monday Sunday 7-12 s schedule.
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Safety oriented and unwilling to compromise on safety rules, processes, and procedures
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and planning skills. Strong leadership abilities.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Work requires working from heights, climbing fixed ladders, and stairs, etc.
  • Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
  • Understands quality standards as outlined by Client.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Must have skills: Rotating Equipment, Machinery planning, Maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and understand P&IDs, fixed equipment design packages, and technical specs.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and business software, including Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook) OneNote, SAP, Primavera P6.
  • 10+ years experience in maintenance and/or engineering disciplines, preferably with experience in industrial outages, pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, and associated systems
  • 5+ years experience as a Machinery Planner.
  • Previous experience building execution work packages with detailed work plans including safety matrix, picture, P&ID, bill of material, etc.
  • Develop detailed work plans for all machinery and rotating equipment scopes, including pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, and associated systems
  • Review and validate turnaround work scope with engineering, operations, and reliability teams
  • Conduct field walkdowns to verify job scope, access, and required resources
  • Create job packages including procedures, drawings, permits, materials, tooling, and labor requirements
  • Identify and coordinate required parts, materials, and specialty tools to ensure availability prior to execution
  • Estimate labor hours and craft requirements for each work activity
  • Support development of the turnaround schedule by providing accurate durations and sequencing logic
  • Interface with vendors and contractors for specialized machinery work (e.g., inspections, overhauls, alignments, balancing)
  • Ensure all work plans comply with safety standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in risk assessments, constructability reviews, and pre-turnaround planning meetings
  • Provide technical support during turnaround execution and assist with troubleshooting as needed
  • Capture lessons learned and update job plans for continuous improvement
  • Support Client s Management of Change processes, recognizing plant changes and following through on all documentation and recommendations in a timely manner.
  • Provide contractor field management in all outage phases for assigned contractors, including safety, timesheet verification, field oversight, change orders, and QC verification.
  • Uphold and communicate high standards of housekeeping in assigned areas and on all job sites.
  • Conduct frequent formal housekeeping inspections of plant areas.
  • Complete close out and documentation as required by Client standards and procedures.
  • Willing to work a wide variety of scheduled days and hours, following strict fatigue management guidelines.
  • Travel may be required as much as 25-45% depending on projects
  • Ability to work without close supervision.
  • Works professionally and harmoniously with co-workers, supervisors, management, support personnel, program participants, and business-related persons.
  • Utilizes positive and constructive attitude toward resolution of problems and conflicts.
  • Accepts direction, criticism, and supervision.
  • Demonstrates ability to remain calm in demanding situations.
  • Ability to work within and promote a teamwork philosophy.
  • Makes good use of time, completing assigned tasks in a timely manner.
