Role –  VCF Architect

Location – Remote, USA

Rate – $50 - $55/HR on W2

Job Description

VCF Implementation:

• Creating High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) for SDDC deployments, including management and workload domains
• Implement comprehensive VCF architectures aligned with business requirements and best practices.
• Develop detailed implementation blueprints, specifications, and documentation for VCF deployments.
• Perform capacity planning and performance optimization for VCF environments.
• Automation & Operations: Designing automation frameworks using VMware Aria Suite (Automation and Operations) for self-service provisioning and observability.
• Migration Strategy: Leading large-scale migrations from legacy platforms (like VVF) to VCF 9, ensuring zero downtime for critical workloads.

VCF Consumption and Adoption:

• Drive the adoption of VCF across the enterprise by promoting its benefits and capabilities.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase VCF consumption and utilization.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to customer teams and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management:

• Interface with customer for information dissemination, decision making, collaboration and working towards timely closure of projects, security observations etc.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and vendors.

Requirements

• Candidate should have a minimum of 8+ years of professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in customer-facing positions as a Consultant,system integrator, consulting, or IT provider.
• Mandatory knowledge on VCF, vSphere, NSX, vSAN, VKS
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell.
• Should be well versed with Industry Knowledge.
• Up to Date with Recent Technological and Software Developments, Advances in Computer Technology and How This Affects the Business Environment and have a Strong Client Focus.
• Understanding of Advance level physical storage and networking concept.
• Posses good troubleshooting skills on VMware products.
• Strong ability to lead discovery workshops, facilitate technical discussions, and produce executive-level documentation. 

Certifications

• Preferred - VMware Certified Professional – VMware Cloud Foundation Administrator
• - VMware Cloud Foundation Architect
