Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $70hr - $85hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong experience with open-source software release cycles and release management.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and container-based workflows.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and release engineering.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, particularly with model training workloads.
  • Ability to manage and maintain build systems and release processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to new technologies.

Experience:

  • Experience managing nightly builds and automated release pipelines.
  • Experience integrating new training workloads and expanding test coverage.
  • Experience supporting distributed systems and large-scale training environments.
  • Experience tracking build performance, reliability metrics, and release quality.
  • Experience handling ad-hoc development builds and deployment activities.
  • Experience working in fast-paced engineering and DevOps environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain nightly builds for multiple training frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain tools and automation for large-scale model training workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new training workloads and improve testing coverage.
  • Ensure stability and releasability of the main code branch.
  • Update and optimize build processes to support release schedules and performance objectives.
  • Deliver ad-hoc development and test builds as requested.
  • Monitor and track build performance and reliability metrics.
  • Troubleshoot build, release, and training workload issues.
  • Support containerized workflows and deployment environments using Docker.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to automation, scalability, and system reliability.
