Program Manager Premium Card Integration Initiative
Location: NYC (114 5th Ave) or McLean, VA preferred | Remote considered (must be near a people center for occasional onsite)
Duration: 16 months (potential extension)
Overview
We are seeking a strategic, high-impact Program Manager to support a major premium card growth initiative tied to Capital One s integration of Discover. This role will focus on minimizing customer spend disruption, enhancing seamless spending experiences, and driving cross-functional execution across a large, multi-year roadmap running through mid-2027.
The team targets high-spending customers particularly those using competitor products such as Chase Sapphire Reserve or AMEX Platinum by elevating the premium Venture X card experience.
This is a highly visible role supporting revenue-generating initiatives and executive-level stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional execution of a large, complex roadmap tied to card integration and premium customer growth
Structure and solve ambiguous, unstructured problems
Partner with Product, Tech, Design, and Business stakeholders to drive delivery
Ensure minimal customer disruption during integration initiatives
Create tools and frameworks to maintain customer engagement and premium experience continuity
Influence senior leaders and drive alignment across multiple teams
Translate strategy into clear execution plans and measurable outcomes
Required Skills & Experience
Core Functional Skills
Strong stakeholder management experience
Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems into actionable plans
Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (especially Sheets & Slides)
Experience partnering with design teams (Figma familiarity preferred)
Experience collaborating with technology teams for implementation
Soft Skills (Critical for Success)
Proactive and autonomous
Hands-on, take-charge mindset (not purely reporting or coordination)
Executive-level communication and presentation skills
Comfortable leading high-stakes, revenue-generating initiatives
Strong cross-functional collaborator
Preferred Background
Experience in finance, fintech, credit cards, or premium customer segments
Experience leading large integration efforts or enterprise initiatives
Experience coordinating work through influence rather than direct authority
