Summary
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced COBOL Developer with strong expertise in Microfocus COBOL / Net COBOL, along with SQL and Unix/Linux environments. The ideal candidate will have solid analytical skills and experience working in enterprise-level financial services environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Microfocus COBOL / Net COBOL
- Work with SQL databases for data processing and querying
- Perform development and support in Unix/Linux environments
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize legacy and enterprise applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Microfocus COBOL / Net COBOL
- Hands-on experience with SQL
- Working knowledge of Unix or Linux systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in enterprise environments
Preferred / Desirable Skills
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016
- Knowledge of System Z – Enterprise COBOL
