Summary

Job Title: Process Analyst

Location: Remote

Type: Fulltime

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Document end-to-end current state processes using BPMN notation to establish a clear baseline for the Guidewire PolicyCenter transformation program.
  • Design future state workflows focused on simplification, standardization across channels and products, and identification of automation opportunities.
  • Analyze and assess 2,000+ existing manual workflows to identify inefficiencies, estimate FTE and cost impacts, recommend optimization opportunities, and support value realization tracking.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Technology (Architects, Engineering), and Business SMEs (Product, Service, Distribution) to translate process insights into inputs for requirement definition.
  • Support the technology transformation by ensuring process designs align with system capabilities and Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation standards.
  • Lead and facilitate workshops and working sessions with business and technology stakeholders to drive alignment on current and future state processes.
  • Communicate complex process concepts clearly across business and technical audiences, driving alignment across cross-functional stakeholder groups.
  • Develop process diagrams and documentation covering customer-facing and operational workflows, capturing systems, integrations, and dependencies within process flows.
  • Partner with teams to support change readiness, knowledge transfer, and value realization as part of the broader transformation program.
  • Operate full-tim with high-touch collaboration with business stakeholders, aligned to U.S. business hours (EST preferred)

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong insurance industry experience (Required); deep expertise in Claims handling is a critical requirement.
  • Proven expertise in process mapping and transformation, with a strong analytical and data-driven mindset.
  • Experience evaluating workflow efficiency, resource/FTE requirements, and cost optimization opportunities across large-scale operations.
  • BPMN process modeling proficiency (Required); hands-on experience with process modeling tools such as Lucidchart (Required).
  • Proficiency in Confluence and JIRA (Required) and Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint (Required).
  • Guidewire PolicyCenter experience (Strongly preferred); understanding of the Product Owner (PO) role and Agile environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to facilitate workshops and lead cross-functional discussions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between business and technical audiences effectively.
  • Critical thinking, structured problem solving, detail orientation, and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, transformation environment; comfortable interfacing with technology teams (tech-savvy).
  • Onshore or nearshore availability strongly preferred due to high-touch stakeholder engagement requirements.
