Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Python Full Stack Developer with AI experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience building scalable web applications using Python, modern backend frameworks, React, and AI/ML technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions, integrating AI capabilities where applicable, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using Python and React.
• Develop robust, secure, and scalable RESTful APIs using Python frameworks such as Django, Django REST Framework, or FastAPI.
• Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Develop and maintain backend services, business logic, and reusable application components using Python.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities and AI-powered services into web applications and business workflows.
• Work with Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, AI APIs, or AI-enabled application features as applicable to project requirements.
• Design, optimize, and manage MySQL databases, including efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, indexing, and database performance optimization.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, input validation, error handling, and API security across applications and services.
• Integrate React-based front-end applications with backend REST APIs, AI services, and third-party APIs.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps, and other developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, clean-code principles, and development best practices.
• Contribute to application architecture, technical design, API design, and AI solution integration.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and API tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Use Git for source control and follow established branching, pull-request, and code-review practices.
• Maintain technical documentation covering application features, APIs, database changes, AI integrations, and technical solutions.
• Stay current with emerging AI, Python, React, and full-stack development technologies and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in full-stack application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and backend web development.
• Experience with Django, Django REST Framework, FastAPI, or similar Python frameworks.
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML or Generative AI technologies, including LLM-based applications, AI APIs, prompt engineering, or AI-powered features.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks/tools such as OpenAI APIs, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, or similar technologies is a plus.
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern front-end development practices.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and SQL query optimization.
• Experience with Git and modern source-control practices.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Good understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, API security, and data validation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, or cloud deployment is a plus.
• Exposure to vector databases, embeddings, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), or AI agent-based applications is an added advantage.
