Sr. SharePoint Automation & Governance Consultant / Architect (Remote: CST/EST Only)

Job Title: Senior SharePoint Automation & Governance Consultant
Location: Minnesota (REMOTE - CST/EST Only)
Duration: 12month contract

Overview:
Our client is seeking a senior-level SharePoint Automation & Governance Consultant/Architect to help modernize and automate the management of a large SharePoint Online environment.
The organization currently has approximately 900 SharePoint sites and millions of files. Client is looking to establish stronger governance and automation around data lifecycle management, retention, archiving, deletion, classification, and security.
This is not a traditional SharePoint Administrator role. The ideal resource will be senior enough to architect the solution while remaining hands-on enough to build and implement the required automation.

Required Experience:
Deep, hands-on SharePoint Online experience in large enterprise environments.
Senior Consultant, Architect, or Senior Engineer-level experience.
Experience designing and implementing SharePoint governance.
Demonstrated experience building SharePoint automation.
Experience with data/content lifecycle management, including retention, archival, and deletion.
Strong scripting and automation skills, ideally PowerShell.
Experience with Microsoft 365 security, governance, and compliance.
Ability to assess an existing environment, develop an architectural approach, and participate hands-on in implementation.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across infrastructure, security, compliance, and business teams.
