A bit about us:We are a niche ERP software company serving wholesale, retail, e-commerce, and rental businesses. Our platform is built on BBx/BBj and we are in the middle of a multi-year modernization initiative - converting legacy character-based systems into modern web-based applications using BBj Dynamic Web Client (DWC), along with expanding our Java tooling and APIs.
This is a hands-on engineering role on a small, high-impact team. You'll work directly with leadership and play a key role in modernizing and evolving a mature ERP platform.

Job DetailsWhat You'll Be Doing:
Maintaining and enhancing ERP software built on BBx/BBj
Converting legacy character-based interfaces into modern graphical/web-based applications
Contributing to Java-based integrations and developer tooling
Refactoring legacy code for long-term scalability and maintainability
Working in Git-based source control workflows
Supporting real-world business processes (GL, AP, AR, inventory, order management, multi-warehouse, etc.)
Collaborating closely with a small engineering team on long-term architecture decisions
What We're Looking For:
Strong BBj (Basis BBx/BBj) experience OR strong Java/.NET background with willingness to learn BBj
Experience working on ERP, accounting, or business systems
Understanding of core accounting workflows (GL, AP, AR, inventory, order lifecycle)
Experience modernizing or refactoring legacy systems
Comfortable working in Git
Someone who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and long-term impact
