Summary

Job Title: Project Manager 3

Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid - 2 days onsite/week)

Duration: Long-Term Contract

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager 3 to lead large-scale enterprise initiatives in a complex, fast-paced environment. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and expertise managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and enterprise-level IT projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee enterprise-wide strategic projects and programs

  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables

  • Coordinate with executive leadership, stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams

  • Drive project governance, reporting, and status communication

  • Facilitate collaboration across multiple business units and teams

  • Support SDLC processes, strategic roadmaps, and operational improvements

  • Conduct project meetings, workshops, training sessions, and presentations

  • Ensure successful execution of project milestones and deliverables


Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of project management experience in matrixed environments

  • Strong experience resolving conflicts and managing competing priorities

  • Hands-on knowledge of SDLC methodologies and project management best practices

  • Experience with enterprise systems, data governance, and infrastructure concepts

  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to manage complex initiatives with executive visibility


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in government or public sector environments

  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred

  • Experience leading large enterprise IT projects involving multiple stakeholders and vendors
