Position Summary...As Sr Manager, Data Science for Walmart+ Core Ops & Strategy Enablement, you will lead a team of data scientists that powers experimentation and scalable data science solutions across Walmart+. You'll shape how we test, learn, and deploy models that drive member growth, engagement, and retention at Walmart scale. This is a people-leadership role that works closely with the Member Acquisition & New Benefits, Member Engagement & Retention and other partner teams to support one of Walmart's most important and fastest-evolving growth engines.
What you'll do...- Lead and develop a team of Walmart+ data scientists focused on building AI/ML models, experimentation, and enablement across the Walmart+ ecosystem.
- Own the cross-portfolio experimentation agenda, including standards for test design, guardrails, measurement, and documentation used across all analytical teams supporting Walmart+.
- Prioritize and oversee data science and customer behavior modeling (e.g., propensity, churn, uplift, targeting) that unlocks new strategies or de-risks key decisions for Walmart+ leadership.
- Scale and templatize solutions by transforming successful experiments and models into reusable packages, feature stores, code templates, or playbooks used across teams.
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders, turning complex tests and models into simple narratives that influence Walmart+ strategy.

About the team:The Walmart+ Core Ops & Strategy Enablement Data Science team plays a central role within the Walmart+ ecosystem. The team develops experimentation frameworks, creates rapid-turn models such as propensity and churn, and transforms unique solutions into reusable data science assets. Collaborating closely with Member Acquisition & New Benefits and Member Engagement & Retention teams, they ensure rigorous experimentation, actionable insights, and scalable models. This team leverages advanced skills in data science, machine learning, Python, SQL, and data visualization to drive impactful business outcomes across multiple customer journeys and channels.

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279: The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00 - $264,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-30008: The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
