Cloud Solution Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solution Architect with 13+ years of IT experience to design, architect, and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), cloud migration, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, networking, and enterprise architecture. The architect will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and clients to deliver modern cloud-native solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end cloud architectures for enterprise applications and infrastructure.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Architect secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud environments.
• Develop High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep).
• Design hybrid and multi-cloud solutions integrating on-premises environments.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using DevOps best practices.
• Design containerized and Kubernetes-based solutions using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Implement cloud security, IAM, encryption, compliance, governance, and monitoring solutions.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, disaster recovery, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with application development, security, networking, and operations teams.
• Conduct architecture reviews, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and technology evaluations.
• Mentor technical teams and establish cloud architecture standards and best practices.
• Support pre-sales activities, client presentations, and solution proposals when required.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of IT experience with at least 7+ years in Cloud Architecture.
• Strong expertise in AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud-native and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Compute Services (EC2, Azure VM, GCE)
  • Storage Services (S3, Azure Storage, Cloud Storage)
  • Networking (VPC, VNets, Load Balancers, VPN, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute)
  • IAM, Security Groups, Firewalls
  • Serverless (Lambda, Azure Functions, Cloud Functions)
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code:
  • Terraform
  • AWS CloudFormation
  • ARM Templates/Bicep
• Experience with:
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes

• Strong DevOps knowledge:

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cloud migration and application modernization.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• Experience with enterprise integration and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
