Job Description
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of full-stack e-commerce development with a strong portfolio in custom Shopify theme development and complex backend integrations (Shopify Plus preferred).
- Front-End: Expert proficiency in Shopify Liquid, vanilla JavaScript, and CSS frameworks (Sass, Tailwind).
- Back-End: Experience in Node.js, Python, Ruby, or PHP for building secure middleware and custom apps.
- API Mastery: Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, OAuth, and webhooks.
- Workflows: Proficiency with Git, Shopify CLI, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Headless Commerce (Shopify Hydrogen, Next.js, React).
- Background in A/B testing (Google Optimize, Optimizely, or VWO).
- Direct experience integrating with enterprise systems such as NetSuite ERP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front-End UI/UX: Translate high-fidelity wireframes into responsive Shopify themes; optimize UX for conversion (CRO) and ensure WCAG accessibility compliance.
- Back-End & Integrations: Architect data pipelines using Shopify''s Admin and Storefront APIs to connect with external ERPs and 3PL software.
- Middleware & Apps: Build and maintain secure middleware and custom Shopify apps to handle complex business logic and real-time data syncing.
- Performance: Manage API rate limits and ensure infrastructure scalability for high-traffic events.
