Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior PL/SQL Developer with 12+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle database development, PL/SQL programming, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining complex database solutions, ETL processes, and data integration workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
• Develop and optimize Oracle SQL queries for high-performance applications.
• Analyze and improve database performance through query tuning and indexing strategies.
• Develop and support ETL processes and data migration activities.
• Create and maintain database objects, schemas, and data models.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Perform code reviews, implement best practices, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and support release deployments.
• Work closely with DevOps and application teams during production releases and support activities.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL Development.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c.
• Extensive experience with PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Cursors, and Collections.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Query Optimization and Performance Tuning.
• Experience with Data Modeling, Data Migration, and ETL processes.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, and SQL*Plus.
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Strong understanding of Database Security, Backup, and Recovery concepts.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports.
• Knowledge of Oracle APEX.
• Experience with Python or Java integration with Oracle databases.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or cloud database environments.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, or Insurance domains.

Education

• Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
