Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale Pega solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Pega platform architecture, AI-driven decisioning, optimization, and integrations, and will play a key role in shaping high-performing, scalable solutions in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design Leadership
Own end-to-end Pega solution architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability
Define and govern enterprise Pega architecture standards and best practices
Lead design of case management, decisioning, and integration architectures
Ensure compliance with Pega guardrails and architectural principles
Act as the final technical authority on design and implementation decisions

AI, Decisioning & Optimization
Architect and guide implementation of Pega AI / Decisioning / Next-Best-Action (NBA) solutions
Drive process optimization and intelligent automation initiatives
Identify opportunities for AI-driven insights to improve business outcomes
Lead application performance tuning and optimization

Integration & Data Architecture
Design and oversee integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
Lead database design and optimization using Oracle and SQL
Ensure secure, scalable interactions with enterprise systems
Guide teams on data modeling, data pages, and caching strategies

Technical & Team Leadership
Mentor and guide Pega developers, Senior Engineers, and Tech Leads
Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and architectural walkthroughs
Partner with Product Owners, Business Architects, and QA leads
Provide production support guidance and root-cause analysis for critical issues

Agile & Delivery Management
Serve as technical lead in Agile/Scrum environments
Support sprint planning, PI planning, and release execution
Track technical work and dependencies using Jira
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery

Quality Engineering & Automation
Drive API testing using Postman
Promote test automation using MABL (QA Automation)
Define quality standards, non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria
Support CI/CD aligned design and automated testing strategies

Required Skills & Experience Core Skills
Pega Platform (PRPC) Certified Pega Lead System Architect (CLSA) required
Strong experience in Pega architecture, design, and governance
Pega AI / Decisioning / Optimization
Oracle Database and advanced SQL
REST/SOAP integrations
Postman for API testing
MABL for QA automation
Agile / Scrum
Jira

Nice to Have
Experience in Insurance, Financial Services, or Healthcare
Exposure to DevOps / CI-CD pipelines
Cloud experience (AWS / Azure)
Experience leading large-scale enterprise transformations

Soft Skills
Strong architectural and problem-solving mindset
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proven experience influencing technical and business leaders
Ability to mentor and build high-performing teams

Certifications (Mandatory / Preferred)
Pega CLSA Mandatory
CSSA (preferred)
SAFe / Agile certification (nice to have)
