Instrument Engineer

Elevate your engineering career by joining our dynamic team as an Instrument Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving minor capital projects to success. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your technical expertise in instrumentation and project management within a fast-paced, complex operational environment. You'll be responsible for guiding projects from conception through commissioning, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of instrumentation systems.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of instrumentation design, including data sheets, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs
Proven experience managing project lifecycle from idea to startup
Excellent understanding of control valves, transmitters, sensors, and related equipment
Ability to develop accurate cost estimates and manage budgets
Effective vendor communication and procurement skills
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance, including MOC processes
Strong organizational and leadership capabilities to oversee installation and commissioning activities

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with Front-End Loading (FEL) studies
Familiarity with industry standards such as API, ASME, or IEC
Prior work in similar operating environments or industries
Knowledge of project management tools and software

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering
3+ years of experience in instrumentation engineering, preferably in capital project execution

Other Requirements:

Valid and current TWIC card
Ability to coordinate site activities and work in a team-oriented environment
Willingness to travel as needed to project sites
