Job Role: Sr Java Full Stack Developer

Location : McLean, VA (Only Locals to VA/MD/DC)

Assignment Type:  Contract Only

Must Have Qualifications: 5+ years of relevant experience and a strong focus on Java development and automated testing practices. Strong proficiency in Java, experience with development and testing tools including IntelliJ IDEA, Junit, JaCoCo, and Jenkins. Ability to design and implement automated testing solutions. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to details, and ability to collaborative in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ yearsof Solid experience withJUnitand/or other automated testing frameworks; commitment to high test coverage.
• 5+ yearsof professional software development experience, with strong proficiency inJavaand theSpring Bootecosystem (REST APIs, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, etc.).
• 2–3 yearsof experience withJenkins and JaCoCotechnologies
• 2–3 yearsof experience withGitin a collaborative, team-based development workflow (branching strategies, PRs, code reviews).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business conversations.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving ability.

 Preferred Qualifications

·              Graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.

·              Familiarity withrelational databasesand writing complex SQL queries.

·              Experience withmessage brokers or event-driven architectures(e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) in a financial services context.

·              Exposure tocloud platforms(AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and CI/CD pipeline tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).

·              Experience usingJIRAor similar tools for Agile planning, sprint tracking, and delivery management.

·              Prior experience infinancial services, capital markets, or fintechenvironments.

·              Working knowledge offixed income concepts: duration, convexity, spread, option-adjusted spread (OAS), and related derivatives.
