Java with Gen AI (Local to NY/NJ)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with experience or interest in Generative AI technologies to design, develop, and integrate AI-powered solutions into enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong Java backend development experience and familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI APIs, and cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based backend applications using frameworks like Spring Boot and Hibernate.

• Integrate Generative AI capabilities into enterprise systems using APIs from models such as OpenAI GPT models or Google Gemini.

• Build AI-powered features such as chatbots, document summarization, knowledge assistants, and automated workflows.

• Design and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.

• Work with vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS.

• Develop REST APIs and microservices.

• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and data scientists to deploy models in production.

• Optimize prompts and system responses for accuracy and efficiency.

• Ensure security, scalability, and performance of AI-enabled applications.
