Overview

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Civil/Site team in Jacksonville, FL! This role is responsible for project management, leadership, profitability, and client management for the Civil/Site project design team.

Responsibilities

  • Project management of land development plans, stormwater management, water and sanitary sewer, soil erosion and sediment control design
  • Managing multiple projects and workload with competing deadlines
  • Quality control
  • Regulatory agency permitting
  • Proposal scope and budget preparation
  • Financial management including invoice preparation and accounts receivable
  • Scheduling of projects so that they succeed
  • Properly manage clients and bring in new clientele as well
  • Hiring, mentoring and training new staff to build a successful Civil/Site team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 10+ years of site design experience
  • PE license is required
  • Knowledge of local city, county and state land use processes and regulations
  • Proficiency in technical skills in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analyses, grading and other site development related designs
  • Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • Ability to interact well with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities
  • Ability to work independently, as well as, in a team environment
  • Construction oversight experience a plus
  • Dedicated, responsive, and organized
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions
