Title: Application Developer/Mainframe
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 12 Months Contract.

Note: Required State Client or Federal domain experience required.

Required Skills:

• Create DW tables and views in SQL server database (approximately 490 tables, 1720 views).
• Create conversion process to convert and load existing DB2 tables to the new SQL server tables.
• Accounting knowledge
• Payroll knowledge
• VSAM experience
• Convert front end site (written in Cold Fusion) to .NET
• Coordinate with agency Back-End Users to convert their processes to read the new SQL server DB
• Modify all existing SSIS jobs interfacing with the DW to read the new SQL server DB

Responsibilities:

• Create DW tables and views in SQL server database (approximately 490 tables, 1720 views)
• Create conversion process to convert and load existing DB2 tables to the new SQL server tables

 Convert COBOL DW update programs
  1) Approximately 335 programs will need to be converted to SSIS packages
  2) Approximately 488 JCL jobs, including 268 procs, will need to be converted to SQL Server agency jobs including schedules

• Convert front end site (written in Cold Fusion) to .NET
• Coordinate with agency Back-End Users to convert their processes to read the new SQL server DB
• Modify all existing SSIS jobs interfacing with the DW to read the new SQL server DB

 Required Skills:

• 7+ years of experience working with all phases of the application development life cycle
• 7+ years of experience with application development quality assurance testing
• 7+ years of experience with the following skills:
• COBOL
• JCL
• DB2 z/OS with performance knowledge
• SQL
• System and unit testing
• Batch Processing
• C# .NET
• Experience with ADO
• Experience dealing with complex and ambiguous scenarios 

Following skills are strongly preferred:

• Accounting knowledge
• Payroll knowledge
• VSAM experience
