Summary
Job Title: Integration Specialist QuickBooks & Service Fusion
Duration: Initial Project-Based Contract (Estimated 4 8 weeks; scope TBD)
Remote - US Based Only
Scope of Work
- Diagnose, optimize, and remediate partial synchronization failures between QuickBooks and Service Fusion to ensure accurate, reliable, and scalable data exchange between financial and field service systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of the existing QuickBooks Service Fusion integration configuration
- Review current sync rules, workflows, and data mapping structures
- Identify root causes of partial or failed synchronization (e.g., invoices, customers, items, payments)
- Analyze API logs, error logs, and middleware configurations where applicable
- Troubleshoot and correct:
- Data mapping inconsistencies
- Trigger configurations
- Workflow logic errors
- Permission or authentication issues
- Validate invoice synchronization processes end-to-end
- Review and reconcile item/product mapping logic
- Audit customer record synchronization rules
- Assess and align chart of accounts mapping between systems
- Test corrective changes to confirm stable and accurate sync performance
Provide clear documentation of:
- Sync architecture and logic
- Data flow dependencies
- Known limitations and constraints
- Recommend scalable, long-term integration improvements if current configuration presents structural risks
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Demonstrated hands-on experience troubleshooting QuickBooks Field Service Management (FSM) integrations
- Direct experience configuring and resolving Service Fusion synchronization issues
Strong working knowledge of:
- Invoice synchronization workflows
- Item and product mapping structures
- Customer record synchronization logic
- Chart of accounts alignment and financial data integrity
- Experience analyzing API logs and integration error reporting
- Familiarity with middleware tools (if applicable)
- Ability to translate technical findings into clear documentation and actionable recommendations
