Software Validation Engineer
Introduction:
The Software Validation Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all software developed meets the necessary quality standards and regulatory requirements. They will work closely with the software development team to develop and execute test plans, as well as analyze and report on test results.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans in accordance with DO 178C Standards
- Conduct Embedded Software Testing to ensure software functionality and performance
- Perform Structural Coverage Analysis to identify areas of code that have not been adequately tested
- Create and execute Automated Test Scripts to streamline the testing process
- Utilize tools such as LDRA and Vectorcast to automate testing and analysis
- Conduct quantitative analysis of test results to identify trends and potential issues
- Work with GNSS and CNS technologies to validate software performance in navigation systems
Requirements:
Required Skills:
- Experience working with DO 178C Standards
- Proficiency in Embedded Software Testing
- Familiarity with DAL-A Verification processes
- Ability to create and execute Automated Test Scripts
- Experience with Structural Coverage Analysis
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in tools such as LDRA and Vectorcast
- Experience with quantitative analysis of test results
- Knowledge of GNSS and CNS technologies
