Description
Our client seeks a highly skilled Developer-first AI Engineer for a contract role in the Northeast region. 
This position involves applying AI concepts in real systems, focusing on software development using generic programming languages. 
The role requires strong problem-solving abilities and a proven track record in integrating AI systems into production environments.
Design and implement end-to-end solutions for AI platforms and business use cases.
Develop architectural approaches for software and hardware integration with a focus on quality and performance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to fulfill business objectives.
Lead teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with business priorities.
Establish standards and drive automation for software development efficiency.
Mentor team members in design and development best practices.
Monitor industry trends to innovate and improve solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable AI platforms and related business use cases.
Lead cross-disciplinary teams to deliver technical solutions.
Identify and execute tasks in the software development lifecycle.
Conduct research to evaluate and identify new solutions.
Stay updated on AI, machine learning, and data science advancements.

Qualifications
7 years of hands-on development experience with strong fundamentals.
1 year of experience working with LLMs or LLM-powered systems.
Proven ability to plan and lead delivery by diverse teams.
High coding proficiency in generic programming languages and scripting.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
