Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Network Systems Engineer. In this role, you will participate in Infrastructure engineering activities including product selection, design, development, deployment, integration and test. Responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of Linux and network systems, as well as ensuring their performance and reliability.

Some travel is required to offsite locations.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Experience using Agile Methodology.
Experience using scripting languages, such as Python, Ansible, and/or bash.

Desired skills

Experience working in a systems/software engineering environment, using agile tools, automation, and applying best practices.
Experience designing and implementing network infrastructures; including network device set up and configuration.
Familiarity with network switching and routing concepts and protocols.
Experience with Linux (preferably Red Hat).
Familiarity with concepts of Cybersecurity.
Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to articulate advanced technical topics to both technical and non-technical staff.
Coursework in Computer Architecture, Networking, Digital Systems, Microprocessors, Cybersecurity, and/or System Hardening.
