PKI Automation Engineer

IDR is seeking a Infrastructure Automation Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis, TN (preferred) or remotely. This role involves automating certificate lifecycle management in enterprise PKI environments, supporting infrastructure automation projects, and developing scripts and tools to streamline processes. Position Overview for the Infrastructure Automation Engineer:

• Focuses on automating certificate lifecycle management across the organization.
• Develops and maintains automation scripts using Ansible, PowerShell, and Infrastructure as Code solutions.
• Supports enterprise PKI environments, including Microsoft ADCS.
• Integrates automation solutions with enterprise infrastructure such as Windows/Linux servers and CI/CD pipelines.
• Plays a key role in streamlining security and compliance operations through automation.

Requirements for the Infrastructure Automation Engineer:

• 3+ years of experience automating infrastructure using Ansible, including playbooks, roles, and repeatable workflows.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS) and supporting enterprise PKI environments.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and operational tooling; Python experience is preferred.
• Experience managing the full certificate lifecycle, including issuance, renewal, deployment, validation, and compliance.
• Experience integrating automation with enterprise infrastructure, such as Windows/Linux servers, CI/CD pipelines, or Infrastructure as Code tools.
