Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer / Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and modernize scalable enterprise applications, APIs, cloud-native services, and internal engineering platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, full-stack application development, cloud platforms, DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, API development, and platform engineering. This role will also contribute to developer productivity, engineering automation, modernization initiatives, and AI-enabled software delivery practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Full Stack Development, or related roles.

• Strong hands-on programming experience with Java and experience with one or more languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#, or Go.

• Strong experience designing and developing scalable applications, REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native services.

• Experience with modern Java technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring Framework, RESTful Web Services, and Microservices.

• Front-end development experience using modern technologies such as React, Angular, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or similar technologies.

• Experience developing reusable frameworks, internal platforms, libraries, APIs, or developer productivity tools.

• Familiarity with API gateways, API management, secrets management, configuration management, and infrastructure tooling.

• Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps, platform engineering, automation, security, scalability, and reliability best practices.

• Experience working with enterprise-scale systems and high-volume application environments.

• Exposure to ETL, large-scale data platforms, or high-volume data processing is preferred.

• Interest or experience in AI-assisted development, workflow automation, and engineering productivity tools.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience leading complex technical initiatives and collaborating across engineering, architecture, product, and platform teams.

• Strong communication and mentoring skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Java-based full-stack applications, APIs, microservices, and enterprise services.

• Build and improve CI/CD platforms, deployment pipelines, release automation, and software delivery processes.

• Develop reusable frameworks, libraries, internal platforms, and developer tooling to improve engineering productivity.

• Lead application and platform modernization initiatives using cloud-native technologies, containers, Kubernetes, and automation.

• Build solutions on AWS and/or Azure using modern cloud architecture principles.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code and automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment.

• Improve application scalability, reliability, resilience, security, and maintainability.

• Partner with application, DevOps, platform, architecture, and product teams to solve complex technical challenges.

• Identify opportunities to simplify development and deployment processes and eliminate manual effort.

• Support platform engineering and operational excellence initiatives.

• Evaluate and implement AI-enabled engineering and software development automation where applicable.

• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.

• Mentor developers and promote coding, DevOps, security, and software engineering best practices.

• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies that improve developer experience and engineering efficiency.
