Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud Functional Consultant or Business Analyst to support a large-scale Salesforce implementation focused on retail execution and field sales.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud (CG Cloud), a strong understanding of the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, and the ability to work with business teams to gather requirements, lead workshops, and deliver effective Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional activities throughout the Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud implementation.

• Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and lead discovery sessions and workshops.

• Convert business requirements into functional designs, user stories, and Salesforce configurations.

• Configure CG Cloud features such as Visit Plans, Action Plans, Task Templates, Surveys, and Assessment Tasks.

• Support retail execution activities, including store visits, field sales, merchandising, product displays, route-to-market, KPI tracking, and compliance.

• Manage Agile activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and user story development.

• Document business processes, functional specifications, and end-to-end use cases.

• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and release readiness.

• Provide functional guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of Salesforce functional consulting or implementation experience.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud.

• Strong experience with CPG Retail Execution processes.

• Experience working as a Salesforce Functional Consultant, Functional Lead, or Business Analyst.

• Hands-on experience implementing and configuring Consumer Goods Cloud features.

• Knowledge of field sales operations, merchandising, store execution, KPI tracking, and compliance.

• Experience leading stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements gathering.

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, user stories, and backlog management.

• Familiarity with the Salesforce data model and field sales processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Consumer Goods Cloud.

• Experience working on CPG or retail industry projects.

• Experience with the complete Salesforce implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and support.

• Consulting background with experience delivering Salesforce solutions for business clients.

Important Requirement: Candidates must have hands-on Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud – Retail Execution implementation experience. Experience limited to Trade Promotion Management (TPM) is not sufficient for this position.
