We are seeking a Generative AI Engineer for a contract position. This role involves the end-to-end execution of Generative AI projects, requiring a combination of technical development skills and a strong understanding of model governance and risk management. The ideal candidate will contribute to delivering compliant and effective AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end Generative AI projects in a professional environment.
- Deliver GenAI solutions that adhere to established governance guidelines.
- Author formal model documentation to meet risk management standards.
- Design and implement controls for model monitoring and performance.
- Utilize a range of LLM development frameworks, agentic frameworks, and evaluation tools.
- Work with enterprise data stores such as Redis and MongoDB.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs, utilizing FastAPI and WebSockets.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in executing end-to-end Generative AI projects.
Technical Skills: Strong Python programming expertise. Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (e.g., GPT, LLaMA), agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph), LLM development frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex), embedding models, and evaluation frameworks (RAGAS, LangSmith). Proficiency with enterprise data stores like Redis and MongoDB is required.
Model Governance: Must have hands-on experience with Model Risk Management and Model Governance processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Frontend experience with Angular.
- Experience with distributed and big data technologies such as Slurm, Hadoop/Hive, Apache Spark, Kafka, or Neo4j.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques, classifiers, and statistical methods.
- An advanced degree or equivalent experience in data science, mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $60.00 and $65.06 per hour.
