Role: Senior SAP Data Migration Consultant
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months (After 6 months, this will become fulltime)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Data Migration Consultant to join our team and lead complex data migration and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP data migration, selective data transfer, ABAP development, and SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.

This role requires a senior professional who can independently drive migration activities, work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure high-quality, reconciled data throughout the migration lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end SAP data migration activities across complex transformation projects.
  • Own migration strategy, planning, execution, validation, and cutover activities.
  • Execute selective data transfers during M&A, divestiture, and business transformation projects.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance migration objects using SAP cockpit tools.
  • Work with business and functional teams on data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Ensure data quality, completeness, accuracy, and successful migration sign-off.
  • Troubleshoot complex migration issues and provide effective technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level migration consultants.
  • Collaborate with SAP functional, technical, business, and project teams to deliver migration milestones.
  • Support migration testing, mock conversions, cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Contribute to migration best practices, standards, documentation, and reusable frameworks.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on SAP experience, with significant experience in data migration.
  • Strong expertise in SAP Data Migration, including:
    • LSMW
    • LTMC
    • S/4HANA Migration Cockpit
  • Strong ABAP development and debugging experience.
  • Experience with Selective Data Transfer (SDT).
  • Proven experience working on M&A/Divestiture/Carve-out projects.
  • Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA migration and transformation projects.
  • Experience leading migration workstreams or serving as a Senior/Lead SAP Data Migration Consultant.
  • Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and data quality processes.
  • Ability to independently manage migration deliverables and work with geographically distributed teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
  • Experience with complex M&A, divestiture, or carve-out migrations.
  • Experience with migration cockpit and related SAP migration tools.
  • Strong understanding of SAP master and transactional data.
  • Previous experience in a technical lead or migration lead capacity.
  • SAP certification in relevant areas is a plus.
