QAD Architect (QAD EE 2015)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QAD Architect with strong expertise in QAD Enterprise Applications (EE) 2015 to lead solution architecture, design, implementation, and optimization initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for defining end-to-end QAD architecture, guiding development teams, integrating enterprise systems, and supporting global manufacturing business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture

• Design and define enterprise-wide QAD ERP architecture using QAD EE 2015.
• Lead blueprinting, solution design, and technical architecture activities.
• Evaluate business requirements and recommend scalable QAD solutions.
• Develop architecture standards, best practices, and governance models.

Functional & Technical Leadership

• Provide expertise across QAD modules:
• Manufacturing
• Supply Chain
• Procurement
• Inventory Management
• Sales & Distribution
• Finance
• Quality Management
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into solution designs.
• Lead system configuration reviews and solution validation.

Technical Skills

Mandatory

• QAD Enterprise Applications (EE 2015)
• Progress OpenEdge / Progress 4GL
• QXtend Framework
• QAD Database Architecture
• Financial and Manufacturing Modules
• EDI Integrations
• Web Services / APIs
• System Performance Tuning

Preferred

• .NET / Java Integration
• MuleSoft, Boomi, or other middleware platforms
• Azure or AWS environment exposure
• Reporting tools such as BI, Cognos, or Power BI
