Summary

Healthcare IT Leaders is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Core Finance - Projects Consultant to support a large healthcare organization's Oracle Fusion ERP implementation and acquisition integration. This is a high-impact engagement supporting a critical go-live with opportunities to continue into a second phase of optimization. The ideal candidate combines deep Oracle Cloud Financials expertise with healthcare industry experience and can provide strategic guidance while remaining hands-on with system configuration.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Oracle Cloud Projects (PPM) workstream activities throughout implementation and optimization efforts.
  • Configure and support Oracle Fusion Financials modules with a primary focus on Projects (PPM) and strong knowledge of Core Finance.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to implement Oracle leading practices and improve business processes.
  • Provide recommendations based on industry best practices rather than simply executing client requests.
  • Partner with offshore resources through daily coordination to support a continuous development cycle.
  • Support acquisition integration activities, data validation, testing, and go-live readiness.
  • Participate in key project milestones, including requirements gathering, conference room pilots, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support.
  • Work closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver a successful implementation.

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of Oracle Cloud ERP implementation experience.
  • Deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Projects (PPM).
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Core Finance, including:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Cash Management
    • Fixed Assets
    • Lease Accounting
  • Hands-on Oracle Fusion configuration experience.
  • Healthcare provider industry experience is required.
  • Experience implementing Oracle leading practices and driving business process improvements.
  • Experience working alongside offshore delivery teams.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting healthcare mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale integration projects.
  • Knowledge of chart of accounts redesign and financial transformation initiatives.
  • Experience optimizing Oracle Financials following implementation.
  • Familiarity with UKG integrations is a plus.

The right candidate will confidently recommend industry leading practices, improve financial processes, and help guide the client through a complex healthcare transformation while remaining hands-on throughout the implementation.

Remote: 75%

Travel: 25% for milestone / target dates

Contract Duration: 6-months +

Start Date: ASAP
