We recently built out some of the most state-of-the-art NCAA football stadiums in the Sun Belt! Some familiar names you may have heard of include: University of Houston, UT-Austin, and Texas A&M! We approach our projects vastly different than most consulting firms, we recognize that using highly experienced and licensed engineers is the only way to insure the quality of our contract documents. Because of this philosophy, we are able to lower construction costs, smoother process, and ultimately customer satisfaction. You'll manage the project from start to finish and perform field verification work, Revit Drafting, quality assurance and inspections. Our specialization is in the MEP design of K-12 schools, colleges, and universities!

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems for various projects, including schools and stadiums.
  • Use your expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems to enhance our operations and achieve our goals.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical systems to ensure their optimal performance.
  • Utilize your knowledge of mechanical design to create innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on the performance of mechanical systems to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mechanical engineering to keep our operations at the cutting edge.
  • Participate in the budgeting and financial planning process, using your engineering expertise to help us make informed financial decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on MEP systems.
  • Must be a certified Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Proven experience in mechanical design, with a portfolio of completed projects.
  • Strong knowledge of the design and construction of schools and stadiums is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A passion for engineering and a commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in the field.
