Location: Grand Rapids, MI (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite / 30% Remote)

Preferred Locations: OH, IL, WI, IN and KY (or) CST

Duration: Contract to Hire (CTH)

Experience: 12+ Years

Interview:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in business administration, Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in:
  • Product Management / Product Ownership
  • IT Service Management / Service Center operations

Strong understanding of:

  • ITIL framework
  • Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Experience with tools such as:

  • ServiceNow (including SAFe module)
  • Genesys Cloud (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with ability to translate requirements into solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Certifications:

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
  • ITIL Certification
  • SAFe Certification
  • Experience in Service Center or similar operational environments

Position Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Owner to support our IT Service Center initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate will play a key role in defining product strategy, managing the product backlog, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of technology services.
  • This role requires strong expertise in IT Service Management, Agile methodologies, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog aligned with business value and stakeholder needs.
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the Service Center team.
  • Collaborate on and communicate the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify and implement continuous service improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Write and refine user stories related to IT service management.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Monitor Service Center performance metrics and drive data-driven improvements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate risks impacting service delivery.
