Genesis10 is currently seeking an Automation Engineer - Remote position with a Major Financial Institution located in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Birmingham, AL, Farmers Branch, TX and Phoenix, AZ. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. This position is for an Automation Engineer within the Provisioning Group, which is responsible for infrastructure, provisioning automation, and service provisioning for both on-premise and cloud environments. The role involves managing platforms, using Infrastructure as Code, and creating and maintaining new automation for server provisioning to enable teams to reduce their time to market.
Responsibilities: - Participate in daily stand-ups and work on JIRA tasks/stories
- Engage in working sessions, collaborating with teams to develop solutions
- Interact with other teams outside of the core team
- Work within an agile framework with two-week sprints
Requirements: - Proven experience with infrastructure automation using Ansible
- Experience with Terraform
Desired skills: - Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments
- Knowledge of Python and PowerShell scripting
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work effectively as a team player
- Self-motivated with critical thinking abilities
- Flexibility to support the team as needed
Pay range: $38.92 - $46.92 per hour
