Pay Range: $20 - $23/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Bill and follow up on WC, TPL, government, and commercial insurance claims
- Work AR and collections to ensure timely payments
- Resolve claim denials, underpayments, and rejections
- Speak with insurance companies and patients by phone/email
- Review benefits (deductibles, coinsurance, COB)
- Expedite high-dollar accounts to support revenue goals
- Document activity accurately in the EHR system
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills;1 year experience in insurance billing, patient accounts, or AR follow-up
Experience working insurance claims . - 1 year experience in medical billing or insurance AR
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, WC, and TPL
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in an EHR system
