Job Title-Security Architect
Role Summary
The Security Architect serves as the primary point of contact for the client''s Privacy and Security Office, ensuring the solution complies with federal, state, and agency privacy and security policies. This role is responsible for designing secure cloud architectures, maintaining an optimal security posture, and supporting privacy and security assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client''s Privacy and Security Office.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency privacy and security policies and procedures.
- Implement and enforce industry-standard security best practices.
- Design, develop, and review security documentation and deliverables.
- Coordinate with client-approved third-party assessors to complete privacy and security assessments for Operational Readiness Review (ORR) and biennial compliance requirements.
- Design and implement data security in compliance with HIPAA regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Security Architecture, including 5+ years in Cloud Security Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks, including NIST 800-53, HITRUST, and SOC 2 Type II.
- Practical experience implementing Cloud Security Well-Architected Principles.
- Experience designing and implementing data security for HIPAA compliance.
- Cloud Security Specialist certification and vendor-neutral certifications such as CISSP or CISM are required.
