Summary
Job Title: Sales Director US and Asia
Location: San Jose, CA, USA - Remote
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description
As a member of the sales team, the individual will facilitate the design-in and sales of Client s semiconductor products in the US (~80%) and Asia (~20%). He or she will be responsible for technical support regarding new and existing projects to the server CSP, OEM, ODM and Enterprise customers with the responsibility of developing and growing revenue at established key and new accounts. The position will require a solid understanding of the Client s product portfolio; The position also requires a deep understanding of the customers design requirements. The individual will report to the VP of Sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical lead and first point of contact for all customer requests and support
- Develop and maintain strong relationships at key accounts, specifically server OEM, Enterprise, Neoclouds and CSP
- Develop and present technical presentations and discuss design solutions that meet the customer s requirements
- Prepare (with FAE s inputs) technical solutions explaining Client s product features and benefits
- Capture all commercial information including application, program name, volume, CM partner location and SOP
- Manage customer forecast, prepare sales reports and territory updates
- Extensive travel required to selected focus customers (80%)
Qualifications
Education And Experience
- 15+ overall years driving strategic partnerships/alliances/Business development/sales at a startup technology company
- Understanding of the cloud ecosystem (Servers, CSP/Datacenter and preferred products and technologies)
- Bachelor s Degree in business or technical degree (preferred); MBA preferred
- Demonstrable experience in technologies related to security domain, AI, advanced hardware, datacenter domains and next generation Internet technologies
- Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements, including interpreting legal documents and work with attorneys to complete agreements
- A proven track record of growth
Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd
- Experience working with Cloud service providers, Data center/Infrastructure customers, worked at/with Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Facebook infra, Oracle infra and other Tier 1, 2, 3 Cloud providers as well as server OEM s Dell, HPE and Lenovo.
- Evangelized new product concepts with customers of cloud service providers including Banking, Government, Military, Healthcare and Infrastructure CISOs and have reach and connections with them.
