About the Role
We're looking for an experienced AI Security Engineer to help design and implement security controls for AI and machine learning solutions in a modern cloud environment. This is a high-visibility role focused on securing AI systems across training, deployment, and inference - including Generative AI and agentic AI use cases.
You'll work closely with senior security leaders and engineers to build a new AI security program from the ground up, helping define guardrails, architectures, and threat mitigation strategies in a rapidly evolving space.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement security controls for AI/ML pipelines, including training, evaluation, deployment, and inference
  • Build and maintain secure reference architectures for GenAI and ML solutions
  • Define and enforce guardrails for agentic AI, including secure handling of prompts, embeddings, outputs, and conversation memory
  • Identify and mitigate AI-specific threats such as:
    • Prompt injection (direct & indirect)
    • Data poisoning and training-time attacks
    • Model inversion, extraction, and membership inference
    • Sensitive data leakage via prompts, logs, embeddings, or telemetry
  • Implement identity, access, encryption, secrets management, and network segmentation for AI workloads
  • Evaluate and secure open-source LLMs and AI tools used in development environments
  • Partner with application security and cloud teams to align AI security with enterprise standards
  • Support incident response, monitoring, and security tooling optimization
  • Communicate effectively with senior leaders, including Directors and the CISO

What We're Looking For

Required
  • 5+ years of cloud engineering experience, primarily in Azure
  • Strong background in cybersecurity or information security
  • Hands-on experience securing AI, ML, or data platforms
  • Knowledge of risk management, threat modeling, and security architecture
  • Strong communication skills and comfort engaging with senior stakeholders

Nice to Have
  • Experience with AWS in addition to Azure
  • Familiarity with AI governance, supply chain security, or model risk
  • Exposure to Microsoft AI security controls or related tooling

Why This Role

  • Help shape and secure a new AI security program
  • High visibility with C-level leadership
  • Work in a cutting-edge, greenfield AI environment
  • Fully remote with a highly collaborative team
