Job Title: DevOps Engineer – Azure / Flux CD / AKS (MBFS)
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: Long-Term Contract

seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Cloud, Flux CD (GitOps), and Kubernetes (AKS) to support the design, automation, deployment, and operation of secure and scalable cloud platforms within the MBFS environment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps delivery models, and CI/CD automation on Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and secure scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using modern DevOps practices.
• Implement GitOps-based deployment automation using Flux CD for continuous delivery into Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
• Provision and manage AKS clusters, including deployment, networking, ingress, scaling, and cluster security.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML, PowerShell).
• Integrate and manage GitHub repositories, branch strategies, pull request workflows, and deployment automation.
• Configure and support secure cloud networking and governance frameworks.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with DevOps engineering in Azure environments
• Expertise with Flux CD / GitOps deployment models (Mandatory)
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines (YAML) and deployment automation
• Proficiency in GitHub, branching strategies, pull requests, and repository management
• Strong understanding of Azure networking and security, including:
  • VNets, Subnets, NSGs
  • Azure Firewall
  • Private Endpoints / Service Endpoints
  • VNet Peering and Routing
  • RBAC and Azure Policies
  • Azure Key Vault
• Experience deploying applications using Helm Charts
• Scripting experience with PowerShell

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Spacelift or similar Terraform orchestration platforms
• Experience building enterprise-grade cloud platforms in regulated environments
• Strong troubleshooting and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) mindset
