  • Lead workflow improvement, education, testing, system optimization, and implementation initiatives to enhance efficiency, user experience, and continuity of care.
  • Develop and deliver staff assessments, training programs, documentation standards, and user-support strategies to improve awareness and effectiveness of clinical application support services.
  • Mentor peers and promote consistent best practices across teams.
  • Use system and utilization data to identify workflow, adoption, and education opportunities; lead process-improvement initiatives related to EHR and clinical applications.
  • Develop recommendations that align clinical needs with technology capabilities; monitor solution usage, establish user groups, and implement action plans to improve adoption.
  • Coordinate clinical application projects, enhancements, testing, implementations, and ongoing support; track project activities, risks, decisions, results, and follow-up actions.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from users, IT teams, stakeholders, and vendors to define workflow concerns, system issues, and enhancement opportunities.
  • Partner with clinical, operational, and IT leaders to resolve conflicts between technology and workflow; evaluate workflows across departments and specialties to identify gaps and standardization opportunities.
  • Lead workgroups and improvement initiatives related to clinical applications, policies, and procedures; influence stakeholders and promote adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of EHR functionality, clinical workflows, interoperability, quality measures, and system-wide initiatives; research healthcare technology trends, regulatory requirements, clinical practices, and emerging EHR capabilities.
  • Support users and project teams with complex clinical application issues; promote effective and innovative use of clinical technology.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary activities related to the planning, implementation, modification, and support of clinical information systems.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management, clinical staff, medical staff, IT teams, and external vendors.
  • Provide implementation and end-user support, including occasional travel and on-call coverage as required.
