Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Okta IGA Reporting & Analytics Consultant to design, implement, and optimize reporting solutions within the Okta Identity Governance (IGA) ecosystem. This role will focus on building standardized and repeatable governance reports, supporting compliance and audit requirements, and addressing Okta data retention limitations through integration with historical data repositories.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Okta Identity Governance, reporting frameworks, access governance processes, and data integration. The consultant will collaborate with business, security, compliance, and audit stakeholders to define reporting requirements, implement scalable reporting solutions, and enable self-service reporting capabilities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Analytics
Design and implement standardized Okta IGA reports covering:
Access Requests
Group Creation and Governance Activities
Develop repeatable and scalable reporting mechanisms for operational reviews, compliance audits, and governance monitoring.
Analyze existing Okta reporting capabilities and recommend optimized reporting strategies.
Create dashboards, scorecards, and reporting interfaces for business and governance stakeholders.
Automate reporting processes to improve consistency, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Historical Data Management
Design solutions to overcome Okta IGA''s three-year data retention limitations.
Build mechanisms to retrieve and analyze historical governance data stored in AWS S3 repositories.
Define historical data structures, transformation logic, and mapping requirements to align historical records with Okta-generated reports.
Ensure seamless integration of current and historical governance data for comprehensive reporting.
Governance, Compliance & Audit Support
Partner with audit, compliance, security, and business teams to gather and refine reporting requirements.
Support governance and compliance initiatives through enhanced reporting capabilities.
Ensure data accuracy, traceability, consistency, and audit readiness across all reporting solutions.
Provide governance insights and compliance metrics to improve organizational visibility and risk management.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
Document reporting architectures, workflows, operational procedures, and reporting standards.
Establish best practices for governance reporting and analytics.
Enable long-term self-service reporting capabilities for business stakeholders.
Required Skills
Primary Skills (Must Have)
10+ years of overall IT experience.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Okta Identity Governance (IGA).
