Summary

Job Title:   SAP MM Material Master Consultant

Location:   Raleigh, NC
Duration : Long Term Contract

JD :

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with SAP MM (Materials Management) and Material Master Data.
  • Hands-on experience in material creation, extension, maintenance, and data validation.
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
  • Pharma/Life Sciences experience supporting regulated manufacturing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical material types, raw materials, APIs, excipients, packaging materials, and finished goods.
  • Knowledge of GMP requirements, GxP data integrity, master data governance, and data quality standards.
  • Experience supporting material master data processes in regulated SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and validate SAP Material Master records for pharmaceutical materials.
  • Support material master data management for raw materials, APIs, excipients, packaging components, and finished products, as applicable.
  • Ensure material data accuracy and consistency across procurement, inventory, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.
  • Support GMP/GxP compliance, data integrity, and audit-ready documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Procurement, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Troubleshoot material master issues and support SAP MM data governance and process improvements.
