Role - Network Automation Engineer
Location San Jose, CA/ Remote
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Engineer to join our infrastructure team. The ideal candidate isn t just a "network person" or a "coder," but someone who lives at the intersection of both. You will be responsible for transforming our manual infrastructure processes into a streamlined, automated machine. If you speak Python, breathe Linux, and can orchestrate complex environments with Ansible, we want to talk to you.
Key Responsibilities
- Automate Everything: Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows for network provisioning, configuration, and testing.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use Ansible and Python to manage and scale our network infrastructure, ensuring consistency across
environments.
- System Administration: Manage and optimize Linux-based systems (RHEL/Ubuntu/CentOS) that host our critical services.
- Network Management: Support and troubleshoot network protocols, VLANs, and connectivity issues within an automated framework.
- Database Support: Perform basic administration and integration tasks for both relational (SQL) and non-relational (MongoDB)
databases to support internal tooling.
- Monitoring & Optimization: Build dashboards and alerts to ensure high availability and performance of the automated infrastructure.

Operating Systems
Deep knowledge of Linux internals, CLI, and shell scripting (Bash).
Networking
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPNs, and Load Balancing.
Databases
Hands-on experience with SQL (Postgres/MySQL) and MongoDB.
