, New York Role Overview
We are seeking a disciplined, mid-level IT Project Manager for a contract engagement to support the delivery of key digital initiatives. Reporting to the IT Program Manager, you will oversee the lifecycle of projects ranging from internal infrastructure upgrades to fan-facing digital applications. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator who can navigate a corporate office environment and translate technical requirements into actionable project plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution: Lead the planning and implementation of assigned IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Facilitate in-person and virtual meetings between technical teams (Dev, DevOps, Security) and business stakeholders.
- Agile/Waterfall Hybrid: Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives while maintaining traditional project documentation.
- Risk & Issue Tracking: Proactively identify "blockers " and manage project risks, escalating to the Program Manager when necessary.
- Status Reporting: Maintain accurate dashboards and provide weekly updates on project health, milestones, and resource allocation using standard tools.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience in IT Project Management.
- Technical Literacy: Solid understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), cloud environments, and API integrations.
- Tools: Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and project scheduling software (e.g., Smartsheet or Monday.com).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills; ability to explain technical constraints to non-technical staff.
