Job Description
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant with strong expertise in data migration to support SAP implementation and transformation projects. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and migration leads to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant migration of data from legacy systems into SAP.
Required Skills:
Minimum 8-10 years of SAP experience with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.
Familiarity with data migration tools and methodologies.
ABAP knowledge for custom extraction or transformation scripts.
Experience with onsite-offshore delivery models.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
Core Responsibilities:
Lead and support migration of transactional data from legacy systems to SAP ECC / S/4HANA.
Identify and validate data: Customer Master, Material Sales Views, Pricing Conditions, Open Sales Orders, Deliveries, Billing Documents.
Develop and execute data migration strategies, including detailed mapping of source-to-target fields and transformation rules.
Execute migration cycles including mock loads, trial runs, and cutover loads.
Work with migration tools such as LSMW, BDC, IDOCs, and coordinate with technical teams to resolve migration errors.
