Position: Sr. WebMethods Sr. Developer/Lead
Location: Raritan, NJ (Hybrid)
Job Requirements:
Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience with the Software AG webMethods platform (10.x and above), including Integration Server, Trading Networks, Broker/Universal Messaging, MWS, API Gateway, and related components.
Highly experienced in developing SAP inbound and outbound integrations supporting Source, Quality, Make, Deliver, and Distribution business processes. Must be able to articulate design with adequate knowledge of SAP integration over IDOC or OData APIs handling large volume processing.
Ability to act as a technical advisor, driving integration of modernization initiatives through new development, enhancements, platform upgrades, and architectural improvements. Strong expertise in designing and implementing complex message transformations, service orchestration, and performance optimization.
Deep expertise in integration development, enhancements, production support, troubleshooting, and emergency issue resolution.
Proven ability to design, and lead enterprise integration solutions while managing delivery outcomes across globally distributed teams.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, supporting sprint planning, backlog grooming, story point estimation, code reviews, and release management activities.
Extensive experience in SOAP and REST API design and development, supporting synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven, and broadcast integration patterns.
Hands-on experience with webMethods components including Broker, Trading Networks, MWS, and adapters such as JDBC, SAP (IDoc, RFC, OData), Salesforce (SFDC), SFTP, and HTTPS.
Experience designing and supporting high-volume, business-critical integrations and large transaction payloads with scalability and performance considerations.
Experience in on premises to cloud migration initiatives, with a solid understanding of integration architecture changes, security considerations, deployment strategies, and operational impacts.
Strong knowledge of integration frameworks including security, configuration/parameter management, reusable utilities, data-driven testing, logging, auditing, and exception management.
Extensive experience implementing logging, monitoring, error handling, alerting, and notification frameworks for enterprise integrations.
Preferred Skills:
Experience supporting Life Sciences (LS) industry environments with strong knowledge of GxP, validation processes, compliance requirements, and SDLC best practices.
Experience building operational, functional, and technical observability dashboards using enterprise monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and CA Wily/DX APM.
Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, automated testing frameworks, source control management, and open-source toolchains.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business teams.
