Data Center Construction Superintendent / Mission Critical Site Superintendent

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Data Center Construction Superintendent to lead daily field operations on mission-critical construction projects. This role is ideal for professionals with proven experience in data center environments or other highly structured, technically complex builds such as healthcare, pharmaceutical, or large-scale infrastructure projects.

The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring successful execution in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to step into active projects with minimal ramp-up time are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day construction site operations for mission-critical and data center projects
• Coordinate multiple subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners simultaneously to ensure seamless project execution
• Drive project schedules, sequencing, and workflow management to maintain construction timelines and milestones
• Oversee low-voltage, structured cabling, MEP coordination, and infrastructure-related activities
• Conduct daily site meetings, safety briefings, and progress reporting
• Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications and standards
• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, contractors, inspectors, and project stakeholders
• Identify project risks, resolve field conflicts, and proactively mitigate schedule impacts
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and leadership teams to maintain operational efficiency
• Support fast-track project delivery with the ability to adapt quickly in high-pressure environments

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, Site Lead, or Construction Superintendent on large-scale commercial or mission-critical projects
• Strong experience in:
  • Data center construction (highly preferred)
  • Mission-critical environments
  • Low-voltage and structured cabling projects
  • MEP-intensive construction coordination
• Proven ability to manage multi-trade construction activities and maintain aggressive schedules
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, field operations, and subcontractor management
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of job site execution
• Experience working in fast-paced, highly structured construction environments
